About the project Minimize

     A fed-up Wisconsin citizen sponsored Steve's December trip to Maine, in hopes of starting a conversation about how money is corrupting Wisconsin's democratic principles.
     The interviews with key sources offer good advice and personal examples about why public financing is the answer to outragous campaign spending.
     Eighty percent of Maine's statewide candidates accept public financing, and spending limits! It is not a partisan issue there, and it shouldn't be one in Wisconsin, either.
     We can clean up Wisconsin politics so our Legislature represents the citizens rather than those who write large checks.
